Frank started his career as a traditional actuary, then joined Google in 2012 as their first actuary. In 2014, he joined Uber as their first actuary and currently is a Vice President of Applied Science. His team consists of actuaries and data scientists working globally.
Frank holds a B.A. in Music and a Ph.D. in Maths from UC San Diego. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and was their President in 2024. He is now the CAS Chairman as well as the Vice Chair of the IAA AI Task Force
