Heerak is a Principal with Milliman in Mumbai and acted as Reporting Actuary for the IPO of LIC. He carries out a wide variety of work in the Indian market including M&A, EV reviews, peer reviews, with-profits actuary work, strategy and product work. He was also Appointed Actuary to an Indian life insurer for more than a decade.

Heerak has vast experience of life insurance globally having worked in the UK, Singapore and India and acted as a Director for a Sri Lankan insurer. He is a Cambridge graduate in Mathematics, qualified actuary and holds a MBA from the UK. He sat on the Council of the IAI for several years.
