Hiten has recently joined WTW. Prior to joining WTW, Hiten worked as Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Actuary at HDFC ERGO GIC, India’s third largest private insurance company. He specializes in business planning & strategy, develop sustainable insurance products / portfolio with General insurance by guiding the sales team, reinsurance, advanced analytics within UW / claims and other traditional areas within actuarial i.e. reserving, pricing and capital modelling. Hiten has been advising clients on Ind AS 117 implementation within the Indian market. He is the Chairperson of the Advisory Group on General Insurance and member of the Ind AS 117 Advisory Group of the Institute of Actuaries of India.
