Parth Dave is a distinguished actuary with over 7 years of association with Munich Re. Currently, Parth serves as the Head of the Life & Health Reinsurance Pricing at Munich Re India Branch. A Qualified Fellow Actuary of both the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), UK, and the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), Parth also holds the esteemed CERA (Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary) certification. With a strong foundation in Applied Statistics and Informatics, earned through a master’s degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai, Parth has honed expertise in data science and actuarial methodologies. Parth's academic specialization in Finance and Investment complements an exceptional ability to derive insights from complex data, particularly in mortality analysis. Over the course of a notable career, in addition to leading the Pricing department, Parth founded the Biometrics Department at Munich Re India Branch, setting it up from scratch and laying down the framework for experience monitoring within the unit. Parth has conducted in-depth experience analyses to identify trends and patterns in mortality drivers, enabling precise pricing strategies and robust monitoring frameworks. Additionally, Parth spearheaded automation and efficiency enhancements, streamlining pricing operations to better address client requirements.
