Ms. Ritu Kotnala is an Actuary by profession with over 15 years of experience across the life, health and general insurance industry. She is currently heading Actuarial Practices at ICICI Lombard General Insurance, leading pricing, reserving and actuarial analytics. ​

Over the course of her career, she has worked across diverse actuarial and risk domains. Her cross-sector experience enables her to bring a holistic perspective on risks, driving strategies, combining technical depth with commercial acumen. With academic inclination she actively engages in thought leadership and advisory work, particularly in the areas of pandemic risk, climate risk and emerging sustainability considerations for the insurance sector. ​

She continues to contribute to the profession, through various industry initiative such as RBC, IFRS and other initiatives focused on strengthening risk frameworks and advancing actuarial practices.​
